This glossary covers Delta-specific terms; for general Roblox executor terms see Roblox Executor Glossary.
Delta Executor Glossary: Every Term Explained
This delta executor glossary is for anyone new to Roblox scripting who keeps running into unfamiliar words. Find the term, read the one or two lines, and move on. Many of these are roblox executor terms explained in the way the community tends to use them, and where meanings vary between communities, we say so.
For the deeper hub version with more terms grouped by topic, see the Roblox Executor Glossary.

A note on honesty: nothing here is a claim that any tool or script is safe, verified, working, or undetected. Definitions describe words, not guarantees.
Executor basics
These are the core roblox script terms you will see on almost every page about Delta.
- Executor. A program that runs Lua scripts inside a Roblox game session. Delta Executor is described by its community as one for mobile and PC.
- Script. A text file or block of Lua code that tells a game to do something. A script is the instructions; the executor is what runs them.
- Script hub. A single menu or collection that bundles many scripts, often for one game or many games. Browse our script library to see how scripts are organized.
- Key system. A gate that asks you to complete steps to receive a temporary access code before using a tool or script. Exact steps vary by creator.
- Keyless. Describes a tool or script that does not ask for a key. The label is a claim by the creator, not proof of anything about quality or safety.
- Attach. Community shorthand for connecting an executor to a running Roblox game so it can run scripts. Wording varies, and some people use it interchangeably with “inject.”
- Inject. The general idea of placing external code into a running program. In executor talk it usually means the same step as attaching. This entry defines the concept only.
Script language terms
Understanding these roblox script terms makes every script look less intimidating. If you want to write your own, our first-script guide is the next stop.
- Lua. A lightweight, beginner-friendly programming language. Many Roblox scripts you will encounter are written in it.
- Luau. Roblox’s own version of Lua, with added features. People often say “Lua” when they technically mean Luau.
- Loadstring. A Lua function name that turns a piece of text into code that can be run. You will often see the word in community posts, and treat any script that uses it with caution, since it runs whatever text it is given. We define the word only and do not show examples.
- Function. A named block of code you can reuse. Think of it as a small recipe the script can call whenever needed.
- Loop. Code that repeats an action, either a set number of times or until a condition changes.
- Variable. A named container that stores a value, such as a number or a piece of text, so the script can use it later.
Safety and platform terms
Read these carefully. Our guide on whether you can get banned for using Delta Executor goes deeper on risk.
- Byfron. The name many players use for the anti-cheat technology Roblox added to its PC client. Community details and effects vary, so check current discussions rather than assuming.
- Ban. A penalty from Roblox that restricts an account. It can be temporary or permanent, and the decision belongs to the platform.
- Alt account. A second account people use instead of their main one when experimenting. It may reduce what you could lose, but it does not remove risk.
- Detection. When a platform’s systems notice that unauthorized software is in use. Claims that something is “undetected” are community statements, not guarantees, and can go out of date quickly.
- Fake download. A file or site pretending to be a real executor or script, often carrying malware or scams. Be suspicious of unexpected installers and unfamiliar download pages.
- Sideload. Installing an app from outside an official app store. It is common on mobile for executors, and it carries extra risk because the file has not gone through a store’s checks.
Game and community terms
- Hub. Short for script hub. People also use it for a community or Discord server centered on one set of scripts.
- GUI. Short for graphical user interface, meaning the buttons, menus, and windows you see on screen. Many scripts add their own GUI so you can toggle features.
- ESP. A visual feature that shows information about players or objects through the screen. See our full ESP explainer for details.
- Aimbot. A feature that automatically aims for the player. It is widely seen as cheating and can raise your risk of penalties.
- Obfuscation. Deliberately scrambling code so it is hard for people to read. Creators say they do it to protect their work, but it also makes code hard to inspect, so be careful.
Quick-reference table
The 10 terms beginners meet first:
| Term | Shortest plain-English meaning |
|---|---|
| Executor | A program that runs Lua scripts in Roblox |
| Script | A block of Lua instructions |
| Script hub | A menu or collection of scripts |
| Key system | A gate requiring an access code |
| Keyless | No key requested (a creator claim) |
| Lua / Luau | The language scripts are written in |
| Loadstring | A Lua function name that runs text as code |
| Detection | A platform noticing unauthorized software |
| Ban | A penalty restricting an account |
| GUI | The buttons and menus on screen |
Terms that confuse beginners most
Script vs executor. The script is the code. The executor is the program that runs it. One does nothing useful without the other.
Key vs keyless. A key system asks you to get a code first. Keyless means the creator says no code is needed. Neither word tells you whether something is trustworthy.
ESP vs aimbot. ESP shows you information. An aimbot takes over your aiming. They are different features, and people often group them together in forum posts even though they are not the same.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does UNC mean?
UNC is community shorthand for a shared set of function names that executors are expected to support, so scripts can run across different tools. The details are maintained by the community and are not an official standard, so support levels are claims worth checking.
What is a key system?
A key system is a step that requires you to obtain a temporary code before using a tool or script. Creators say it funds development, but the process varies and can include ad pages, so be careful about what you click.
What is a script hub?
A script hub is a single place that gathers many scripts, often with a menu so you can pick features. Convenience is the draw, but quality and safety vary, and you should never assume a hub is trustworthy.
What does obfuscated mean?
Obfuscated means the code has been scrambled on purpose so humans cannot easily read it. It can be used to protect a creator’s work, but it also hides what the code does, so many careful users avoid running code they cannot inspect.
